Investigators say that a suspect who abused a child in a Manassas home between May 2018 and May 2020 has been apprehended and charged with aggravated sexual battery.
At the time of the alleged abuse, the child was between the ages of 6 and 8, while his abuser was between 15 and 17 years old, according to police.
The victim recently reported the incidents, prompting an investigation and arrest of the man, whose name has not been released due to his age at the time of the alleged abuse.
